individual therapy

UTILIZING MINDFULNESS AND COGNITIVE BEHAVIORAL THERAPY TO HELP PROCESS EMOTIONS, CENTER JOY AND FIND HOPE

By using mindfulness practices we can work together to support you in finding your center, slowing down, staying grounded and, relieving symptoms of anxiety and depression.

My approach incorporates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), which can help support you in noticing how your thoughts influence your behaviors.  We will work towards reframing your thoughts to positively reflect your best intentions for yourself.  If you struggle with low self-worth or lack of confidence, CBT can help you start to improve the way you think of yourself.

As a collaborative, person-centered practitioner, I will work with you as your teammate in developing goals and exploring your intuition to create steps on your journey to wellness.

couple’s therapy

WORKING WITH QUEER, gender diverse, poly and kinky COUPLES TO FOSTER CONNECTION, AND INCREASE UNDERSTANDING

By utilizing Gottman techniques, Mindfulness and Somatic practices, Emotionally Focused Therapy and Non-violent communication principles, I can support couples in decreasing conflict, improving communication and understanding each other's signals more clearly.  I also help couples learn how to find opportunities for reconnection and remembering again the joy of being together, when connection has been interrupted or lost.

walk and talk therapy

Now offering Walk-and-Talk therapy.  Meet me at a local Santa Cruz County park or beach for your next therapy session.  Therapy outdoors provides a connection with the natural world, and an opportunity to slow down and take in your surroundings, using your 5 senses.   Movement-based therapy can also be a great way for you to, with my guidance, open up any of the emotional pathways where you're feeling stuck.  Walk-and-talk therapy is the ideal setting for the mindfulness and somatic-based practices I use in my practice, which can help support you on your healing journey.   Book a session with me now and let's explore how nature and therapy can work in conjunction to provide you with a truly holistic experience.

“I hope to help you find and nurture your inner strength, purpose and passion through our work together.”
